Treat your kids to this fun science experiment! It is so simple, but it will have them oohing and aahing! Assemble it outside on the picnic table and save yourself some cleanup.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">Plasma Gloop<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">1 cup cornstarch<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">1\/2 to 3\/4 cup water<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">food coloring<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">1-Place the cornstarch in a large bowl. Add a few drops of food coloring.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">2-Add the water a little at a time, mixing with your hand.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">3-Stop adding water when the cornstarch holds together.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5499\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/happyhomeschooling.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/hth3.jpg?resize=300%2C225&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"hth3\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/happyhomeschooling.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/hth3.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/happyhomeschooling.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/hth3.jpg?w=320&amp;ssl=1 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>4-Gather a blob in your hand and open your fingers. Wait a minute and it will ooze and drip just like a liquid.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">5-Punch it and it will form into a solid surface.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">6-Grab a ball and pull it apart, and it will break apart on a clean line just like a solid.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5500\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/happyhomeschooling.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/hth2.jpg?resize=258%2C240&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"hth2\" width=\"258\" height=\"240\" \/>7-Save your Plasma Gloop by putting it in an empty cottage cheese or yogurt container with the lid off. It will dry out.
